Beretta 1934, Nazi Occupation

Italy was the first of the German allies to abandon ship.  After rescuing Mussolini from his mountain top internment, Hitler set him up heading a puppet fascist government, under a German occupation force.  The manufacture of Beretta pistols continued under this German occupation.

The primary indicator of a Nazi made Beretta is a 4 over UT in an oval on the left rear, under the hammer.  Later serial number suffixes AA and BB also indicate German overseen production.  Finally and most definitely the rarest indicator is a waffenamt stamp.

This first piece is the first variation German occupation Beretta.  It has a blue finish, and is marked 4/UT.  It is in very good original condition, all matching, with both correct magazines and holster.
